Hi-Tac High Temperature Ablative CoatingHi-Tac is a versatile, lightweight, reinforced elastomeric coating developed for the aerospace industry that can be used as a thermal protection system in high continuous temperature regimes or as an ablative liner for applications where temperatures in excess of 2000°C are encountered. The coating is a 2-part system which can be easily mixed, poured and sprayed at any thickness and cures to a firm, flexible coating at room temperature. The cured coating possesses superior thermal barrier characteristics such as low thermal conductivity, high specific heat capacity and good ablation and char characteristics.
