Rocket Lab operates its own dedicated launch facility located on Mercury Island, just off the east coast of New Zealand. The location of this facility on an off-shore private island provides a highly secure environment for launches of a sensitive nature. All air and maritime traffic over this 80 square mile launch range can be closed within 48 hours. With this launch facility, Rocket Lab is able to provide launch services for a fraction of the cost of traditional launch ranges.

Rocket Lab typically provides all launch services including integration, launch rail, range safety and recovery if required. The majority of launch Infrastructure is mobile enabling rapid deployments.

At Rocket Lab we provide, professional, low cost and safe launch operations.  Beginning in 2006 we have conducted more than 45 launch campaigns and numerous ordinance tests and recovery system drop tests from a variety of rocket lab run launch complexes and ranges.
